Let Loose: An Interview with Alan Moloney
This week the Comic Cast talks to Cork-based comic artist Alan Moloney – the creator of international webcomic hit Looseville. We dicuss the birth of the strip, its time spent on the pages of Dublin mag Mongrel and its current incarnation as well as Alan’s foray into stand-up comedy and a rather in-depth discussion on the state of comedy on Irish television. Yar!

Hey guys, long-time listener, first-time caller-
Love the show, it’s a ray of sunshine on an otherwise cloudy day. It’s entertaining, yet infornmative and educational. Possibly the finest Irish podcast on comics that I’ve ever heard; certainly the only one. Keep up the good work!
PS- Is Craigy single?

Hi. Any idea if Alan still has online material? And if so, where can it be found, and if not, where can it be found? Last I saw was the abyss, but that was years ago. Thanks

Hi Kevin,
I’m afraid any traces of Alan’s comics seem to have vanished. Several of us have been looking but can’t seem to get in touch with him.
